Test Engineer

The Role
Based in the Croydon office, we are recruiting for a new position within the Testing team, who will report to the Testing Lab Manager. The successful candidate will provide support to the Testing department by completing requested testing activities and preparing test reports, working closely with the Sales and Marketing departments, Product Development and Material Development teams. As a rapidly expanding company, they will be someone who will develop with taking on more responsibility as opportunities arise.

Key Responsibilities
Follow and comply with all safety, IT, Quality and company work rules and regulations.
To support defined company projects by conducting require tests
To carry out competitor product testing to support sales and marketing activities
To support the maintenance and smooth operation of the testing lab through the correct use of equipment, supporting maintenance schedules, housekeeping and tidiness, and quality standards.
Create test plans and prepare testing reports
Maintain all test records and databases
Liaise with external testing partners, equipment suppliers as required
Identify and suggest areas for improvement to current procedures and test methods
Other department tasks as instructed by Test Manager

Preferred Experience / Skills
University educated (with relevant degree) proven job knowledge or relevant experience will also be considered for strong candidates
Laboratory testing of products and materials would be an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer literacy
Fluent English, strong written communication skills

Other Information
Croydon office has a gym onsite and parking
Standard office hours 8.30 - 5.30 with an hour lunch break

Salary

£22000.00 - £35000.00 per annum
