The Care Centre is a propose built 72 bedded home which opened its new doors in Sept 2014. It provides residential & dementia care within a specifically designed units (hamlets) with dedicated to a certain area of care based upon their needs. Each hamlet has a Team Leader, who is assisted by a Senior Care Worker, a group of care workers and ancillary staff.
Inspected by the CQC and consistently “GOOD” in its five main criteria's, scoring high on staff satisfaction.
About you: The Deputy Care Home Manager is a motivational and inspirational leader, who has the ability to motivate, engage, and exercise leadership throughout the team with an open communication style. The Deputy Care Home Manager Is able achieve a high standard of clinical care by auditing, analysing trends and directing care team to deliver results.
A key to success in this role is the ability to communicate with ease to the Care Quality Commission, Social Services and the Safeguarding teams. The ability to implement action plans for improvement and build a reputation of high quality care delivery for the home.
Key things about you;
Proven experience of in a health & social care setting with older people
NVQ level 3 or above in relevant H&S care qualification or RMA
Will need experience within homes of similar or larger number of residents
Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding

Salary: circa £30K to £33k depending on qualifications & experience
